It is hard to believe that Asher turned one today, the year has gone by so quickly! We love having him in our family and love watching him learn and grow. Since we already had his birthday party we had a family dinner tonight with just us and his Grandma Reed. We made homemade pizza, which of course Asher loved, and then had cake and ice cream. We let Asher have a piece to dig into and once the frosting was on his hands he wanted nothing to do with it!! He wanted that sticky stuff off his hands and was waving them all around. He decided he wanted a few bites once I put a piece on my plate and enjoyed a few bites of ice cream too. Here are a few of his new favorite things:
He loves climbing the ladder to the fort on the swingset
He loves dancing to music and always walks to the playroom and points right at the stereo when you ask him if he wants to dance
He loves food and is an awesome eater
He loves to be outside (even today he went and sat in the rain and ran to the swingset while it was pouring and then screamed when I made him come inside)
He loves to explore and wants to walk everywhere and anywhere
He loves playing with his Dad when he comes home from work
Asher we love you so much and can't wait to make lots more memories with you!!

oh he's so cute! from what i hear that's just what ryan would have done with frosting. what a funny boy!
Yeah when i heard of asher not liking the sticky icing i thought of ryan not liking the sticky lollipop. how funny! he is so big and cute! happy birthday!
And it's great he loves being outside. It beats having to motivate a couch potato....
