FHE
Asher was looking through the Friend magazine and decided we should make the CTR pretzels that they showed. He loved eating them, almost as much as Ryan, and did great grasping the meaning of CTR. It is fun to see how well he is learning about the gospel.
Playing Together
I love when Asher and Atley decide to play nicely together. Their new favorite thing is use the doll stroller as their own set of wheels.
Zoo Day
We were lucky enough to visit the zoo while Grandma and Grandpa Reed were off and Poodle was still here. Asher loved having Poodle here and was very excited to go to the zoo with her. We all had lots of fun. While we waited for everybody, Atley wanted to see the birds so Ryan took her over there since Asher wanted nothing to do with the gravel path that led to them. A perfect example of how different these two are. Atley wasn't too excited about the carousel, but Asher loved riding with Poodle. It was a great day!
Christmas 2011
We (okay really I) decided to add a new tradition on Christmas Eve. Each kid gets to open a new book and Asher lucked out that his new Polar Express book also came with the movie. We enjoyed a quiet Christmas Eve day watching The Polar Express and having fun together.
Christmas morning was so much fun and the kids were excited about all the new toys and having the Reeds over for breakfast. I was lucky enough to get a new tv for our bedroom as well. Ryan did quite well pulling off the surprise. It was nice to attend church and enjoy the true reason for the season a little later that day. We then enjoyed dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Reeds. I just love Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
We had a wonderful time getting ready for Christmas. From setting up the tree and taking treats around Asher really got into it. It was tons of fun to see Asher start to grab the concept of Santa though neither kid wanted anything to do with him at the ward party or out shopping.
