A friend in our ward let us know about a St. Patrick's Day parade in Fulshear so we headed down. It was short and sweet just how we like our parades. It was quite a warm day so we enjoyed some mint chocolate chip ice cream from The Sweet Shoppe, walked the booth area, and had a good time with some friends. Thanks to the Walkers for the invite!

Black Eye
Asher decided to be crazy while we had the missionaries over for dinner in February and hit his eye on the chair. As usual, we played it down and told him he was fine. It turned into quite the shiner and so we took a picture a few days later. Amazing what kids won't cry over, but turn off Little Einsteins and there is a meltdown!
Valentine's Day
We have a small playgroup at our house on Tuesdays so I thought it would be fun to decorate sugar cookies on Valentine's Day. The kids had fun decorating and eating and so did the moms so it was a great day. Asher got a new lunchbox and backpack for his Thursday co-ops and Atley got new books in their Valentine's bags. For dinner we did individual heart pizzas and pink "special drink" as Asher likes to call them. I love doing fun things for holidays!
Thanks Truman
So, Asher's friend Truman came to playgroup one day wearing underwear. Asher then decided he wanted to wear underwear as well. It took a few days, but he did great. He picked a Chuggington toy for his first day accident free. He was quite proud of himself and we are too!
