Growing Up

When you have an infant it seems like so many people tell you how they didn't learn until their 3 or so child to enjoy them just the way they are and not anticipate the next step. Or they tell you how their husbands were unsure about the infant stage. I don't know if it is because it took a while to have Asher or because you just never know if you'll have more, but we seem to have done this with Asher. Ryan loves to have father-son time since he was born. And it was a little sad to see all the 3-6 month clothes put away a few weeks ago and to pack up the swing last week that he had spent every day in so far, but excited to know he's learning new things. It is hard to imagine how much you'll love everything your little one does before you have them. We feel so blessed to have Asher in our family!
