Asher and I go to infant time at the library on Tuesdays. A few weeks ago the woman in charge was telling the group about the summer reading program. She made sure to tell all of us new moms how our babies could get their first trophy. All they had to do was have 20 books read to them during the summer. I first thought why would a baby need a trophy, but then being the blogger that I am realized Asher needed his first trophy so I could put it on the blog. Asher loves books, especially his spanish book "Toca, Toca 1,2,3" and his new Dr. Seuss books. Can't you just see how excited he is!

That is hysterical. He doesn't look like he is that thrilled. I'm not sure he takes after Brianna, though. Even in Kindergarten she knew she could win every award there was and she did everything she could to get them!

I think mom deserves the trophy. Asher is a good sport to hold it, though.
Congrats Asher! Not many kids have a trophy for anything at his age!
