Saturday was Ryan's birthday so we decided to take Asher for his first visit to Brazos Bend (the alligator park). We of course started the day with donuts from Southern Maid (which are the best donuts!) and then headed to the park. We had a great time and Asher was great the whole time. After the park we had lunch at an old time soda fountain. Ryan ordered a brownie sundae with his lunch and thus continued the treats. Once we got home we hurried to attend a baptism. After the baptism Ryan headed for some cake and told our good friend Benjeline that it was perfect because he didn't have a birthday cake. So, yes you guessed it she brought a cake by for him that night. Bethany had gotten him some delicious cheesecake from Ooh La La, but that didn't stop him from also eating his birthday cake. I am not sure how he didn't slip into a sugar coma, but he sure lived it up on his birthday!! I am sure he had a great birthday. Here are some pictures from the park.

Those are some cute pictures and I'd do the same thing on my birthday. you can never have too many sweets!
Happy Birthday! And, I've never been to an alligator park, but it sounds kinda dangerous to take a chunky baby there...I'm glad you didn't put him down!!
