Trains!
I had a couple of gymbucks to spend at Gymboree from buying the kids' winter pajamas so the kids and I went to Gymboree to get an outfit or two. Asher was in heaven - yes they have a train line out for winter. Luckily, Atley didn't need anything since we left the store with a train sweater, a train shirt, pants, and a train vest for church. Hopefully, he won't scream "tight" and "neck" (hates collars) when he gets dressed for church this winter since it has a train on it. Isn't he cute?
Birthday
I love having a birthday near the Round Top Antique show because my birthday is always fun! This year my friend Jamie and her little one Alayna, myself and my kids, and another lady from our ward, Jackie and her daughter Chloe headed up to the show. We had a ton of fun looking at everything and showing Jackie all around. She is now hooked and Jamie may just buy something next time we go. I love seeing all the "new" old things and what is in right now. This time I was able to find an awesome two seater tent revival chair. Not sure where they will end up, but I love the look of them! My actual birthday was great as Ryan and I were able to go to the See Family sealing. It was a great way to spend a birthday!
Playgroup, Swimming and Library Time
September and the beginning of October have been hot! We have been lucky to have fun things going on to keep us entertained inside. Tuesdays we have a playgroup over at our house. Asher loves it and I love that he is learning to share. Wednesdays we have swim lessons and Asher is still loving it. He can jump off the diving board by himself and has started to use his arms. Thursdays we go to the library and both the kids love it. I love watching Asher and Atley dance to "Shake Out Your Sillies". It is their favorite part of storytime. Fridays our ward has a playgroup and we love all the fun things we get to do. We have been to the inflatable zone, Dewberry Farms and lots more. We love playing with our friends!
We Miss Grandma
Whenever we come back from Arizona, Asher always wants to go back to "Mama's house" to play with her and needs to call her about everthing. This time unfortunately I had to come back missing my Grandma. My Grandma Grace passed away in September. I am grateful we were able to attend her funeral and be with my family. My Grandma was the greatest Grandma! She taught all of us to love our family no matter what! As my mom said at the funeral we think we are the best family because that is what she taught us. She also taught us to work hard and was proud of everything her grandkids did. We all miss her, but are so glad that she can see Grandpa again. I am so grateful for eternal families!
